Fannie J. Olson, 63, of South Range, died Friday, November 13, 2015, at her residence.
She was born March 28, 1952, in Superior, daughter of Louis and Mabel (Lord) Hoyt.
On September 12, 1981, in Duluth, Fannie Hoyt and Terrance Olson were united in marriage.
Fannie worked several years in housekeeping at Park Point Manor, Duluth.
She enjoyed sewing, crafts, crocheting, puzzles and playing cards, however; her greatest love was spending time with her family.
Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Louis Jr., James, Gerald, Wallace, Clifford, Daniel and Roy Hoyt; and sisters, Genevieve Rantamaki and Virginia Hoyt.
Survivors include her husband of over 34 years, Terrance "Terry" Olson; son, Justin Olson, S. Range; sisters, Louise Hoyt, S. Range, Beatrice (Edward) Williams, S. Range, and Mary (Arthur) Edwards, Cowden, Illinois; brothers, Jack Hoyt, Superior, and Fred (Amy) Hoyt, Cowden, Illinois; and her special feline friends, Alice and Zoey. Fannie was also a second mother to many children and adults. She welcomed everyone to her home and to stay at her home for as long as they desired.
Visitation will from 12 noon until the 1 p.m. service, Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 4831 Grand Avenue, Duluth. Reverend Christine Anttila will officiate.
