Frances Meteraud's Obituary
Fran Meteraud, 80, died Saturday August 21, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth.
She was born June 5, 1930 in Superior to Edward and Mona (Tyson) Isackson, and graduated from Superior Central high school. Fran lived in Douglas County her entire life.
Fran is survived by her daughters, Jackie (Keith) Plunkett of Maple and Terri (Scott) Javner of Hawthorne; sons, Jon (Robbyn Stariha) of Wascott, Tim (MaryAnn) of Superior, Michael Scott and Bill both of Lakeside, Todd (Shelli) of Brule and Paul (Jessa Nevin) of Maple; and daughter-in-law Fran Micken of South Range. Seventeen grandchildren and Twenty-two great grandchildren. A brother Edward "Butch" (Kathy) Isackson of Superior; sisters Lucille Acker of Superior and Mary "Cookie" (Clifford) Anderson of California; and numerous nieces and nephews and special friends of Crystal Lake Campground.
Preceding her in death was her husband, John "Jack" in 1994; a son, Patrick in 2008; her parents; an infant grandson, Dustin; and a sister Lorraine Nelson.
A Luncheon to celebrate Fran's life will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 2:00-5:00 at the Crystal Lake Bar (formerly Wanless's) 15993 S. Crystal Lake Rd Wascott WI. The family is requesting no flowers.
