Frances L. Stannard (Kozlowski) of Superior passed away peacefully at home Thursday, August 20th, 2026.

Frances was born February 24, 1943, to the late Leo and Cashmere Kozlowski.

She was a very proud member of the City of Superior citizens 4th of July parade committee. Frances volunteered for over 20 years alongside her husband. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, husband David Stannard, daughters Julie Lynn and Kathleen Czarnecki, sisters Aggie, Jane, Mary and Stella.

Frances is survived by sons Robert, Daniel (Kelly) and Bonar Carlson, grandchildren Shawnde (Robert), Brittney (C.J.), Kody, Ashley (Jeff) and Isabelle, great-grandchildren, Martin, Haylee and Lacy.

Celebration of life for Frances will be held at the Superior Town Hall, 4917 WI-35, Superior, WI from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Friday September 11, 2026.
