Francis J. Homick's Obituary
Francis J. 'Frankie" Homick 65, of Superior died Saturday May 28, 2011 in Essentia- St. Mary's in Duluth.
Frankie was born November 2, 1945 in Superior to Jeannette (Green) and Frank Homick and was a lifelong resident.
He had been employed as a Roofer for various contractors for many years.
Frankie was also a U.S. Navy veteran.
He is survived by four sisters, Claudia (Don) Brew, Peggy Garcia, and Paulette Welu all of Superior and Mary (Paul) Gerberbaum of San Diego, Calif.; step-children, Gina (Michael) Kivisto and Storm (Kathleen) Ziegler; step-grandchildren, Aidan, Ryan and Rachel; a sister-in-law Phyllis Homick; and many nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents; his significant other, Connie Ziegler; brothers, Ed and John; and a sister Helen McKay.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 11 at 11:00 a.m. in the Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th & Ogden, with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci officiating.
