SUPERIOR
Francis T. "Frank" Kotter, 72, of Superior, died Sunday, January 31, 2010 at Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born October 27, 1937 in Superior, son of Stanley and Steffie (Ostrowski) Kotter.
Frank worked for Lakehead Painting Company and Rookey Transfer.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Shelby (Kilgore) Kotter; and brothers, Stanley Jr. and Richard Kotter.
Survivors include his sons, Frank Kotter and Kevin (Leslie) Crist, both of Superior; daughter, Tracy Kotter, Superior; grandchildren; brother, Edward (Rosemary) Kotter, Cottonwood, Arizona; sister, Barbara A. Sullivan, Superior; and nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service Friday, February 5, 2010 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior, with Reverend Father Andrew Ricci officiating.
Pallbearers will be Mike Sullivan Jr., Rick LaJoie, Alex Kotter, Kevin Crist, Corey Crist and Ken Ostrowski.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Superior.
