Frank W. "Corky" Danenfelzer, 81, of South Range, WI, died suddenly on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at his home.

Corky was born July 20, 1942 to Frank and Agnes (Christenson) Danenfelzer in Superior.

He was an electrician with Burlington Northern Railroad for 36 years until his retirement. Corky was a member of the National Association of Railroad Employees, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the Minnesota Street Rod Association.

He was passionate about his family, his home, street rods and NASCAR. Corky will be remembered for his willingness to always help others.

Corky was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Caroline Madsen.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; his children, Jennifer (Jon) Eisenmann and David (Kenda Flaks) Danenfelzer; his grandchildren, Samantha and Emma Eisenmann, Benek and Aernen Danenfelzer.

Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2024, in Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19th St. Superior, WI.
