Frank F.  Cross, 82, lifelong resident of Superior, died Monday, June 24, 2019 at Twin Ports Health and Rehab Center.

Frank was born in Superior on November 28, 1936 the son of Felix and Geraldine Cross. He graduated from Superior Central High School with the class of 1955.

He served his country enlisting in the Army and was stationed in Germany during his service. He had worked for the Co-op and Frasier Nelson Shipyards for 5 years. He then worked for King Midas Flour Mill for 30 years before his retirement.

Frank enjoyed spending time at his family cabin, hunting, fishing and watching birds. He also liked building clocks. Frank enjoyed visiting his friends at Strikers.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jane (Keller); and son, Frank 'Gezo' Cross.

Frank is survived by his daughter, Lynne Smith of La Crosse, WI; grandson, James Barnard of Superior; sister, Marjorie Koski of Farmington, MN; special friends, Charles Peterson and Will Jorgenson of Superior; many nieces, nephews, friends and cousins.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 15th at 1:30 p.m. at St. Francis Cemetery. Military Honors will be accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post #435.
