Frank G. Stokes, 65, of Superior, died Thursday, July 5, 2018, at his residence.

He was born April 28, 1953, in Pondera County, Montana, son of Frank J. and Joyce E. (Brown) Stokes.

Frank worked as a C.N.A. at the former Chaffey Nursing Home and Fieldview Nursing Homes in Superior, before becoming a driver for Lakeland Delivery and the D.T.A., both of Duluth. He retired from the D.T.A. in August of last year.

He was known as a very selfless man, and always thinking of other before himself. Some of his interests included hockey, football, airplanes, and traveling by train.

Preceding him in death were his parents, and his grandmother.

Survivors include his daughters, Jessica Job, Elizabeth Danner-Johnson, Taylor Ziegler, Nicole Demenge, and Krista Oliver; and granddaughters, Tori Ziegler, Madalynn Jackson, and Maddy Conners.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2018, at New Beginnings Church, 1326 Pine Avenue, Superior, with Pastor Brian Schumacher officiating.
