Gayle A. Rosenbaum, 83, of Superior, died unexpectedly Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Essentia-St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth

Gayle was born in Superior on Dec. 28, 1934 the daughter of Elmer and Evangeline Moore. She married Lester Rosenbaum on Nov. 13, 1954.

She had worked as an office manager in local dental offices and loved her work.

She enjoyed being on the water, fishing and boating. She enjoyed wintering in Texas and going to Branson. Most important to her was her family, especially time with her grandchildren. She also loved her pets.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her daughter, Heidi Pineau on Oct. 4, 2018.

Gayle is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lester; children, Daniel Rosenbaum, Robin Rosenbaum and Scott Rosenbaum, all of Superior; son-in-law, Richard Pineau of Thunder Bay, Ontario; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and sisters, Diana (Les) Solin of Lake Minnesuing and Wanda (Nicholas) Pristash of Superior;

Visitation will be on Thursday, November 8 from Noon until the 1:00 p.m. memorial service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th St.  Gary Banker officiant.

If desired, memorials in Gayle's name may be made to the Douglas County Humane Society, CASDA or a charity of donor's choice.
