Geoffrey A. Hayes' Obituary
Geoffrey A. Hayes, 52, of Superior, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2015 at Solvay Hospice house after a courageous battle with cancer.
Geoff was born in Fort Fairfield, Maine on Sept. 8, 1963 the son of Eunice (Michaud) and Clayton Hayes. He was raised by the Spittle Family.
He had worked as a chef for many years at the Old Town and several area restaurants. He loved being outdoors especially biking and being at the camper in Gordon. He was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan.
He was preceded in death by his mother, and brothers Clayton and Irving Hayes.
Geoff is survived by his family, Geoffrey Hayes II, Zachary and Jacob Hayes; Lori Hayes and many nieces and nephews. His sisters, Carla Thibeau-Becerril, Heidi Estey-Nicholson, and Rhonda Estey-Rossignol; and his dogs, Maggie and Cheeko.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 3, from 3-6 pm with remembrances and eulogy at 3:30 at the Belgian Club, 3931 E 2nd Street, Superior, WI 54880.
Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th and Ogden, is assisting the family with arrangements.
