George "Chuck" D. Nelson, 67 of Superior died on Saturday, April 2, 2022, in his home.  He was born on April 23, 1954, to Arthur and Marvel (Wolford) Nelson in Superior, WI.  Chuck was employed as a painter and worked most of his career for Lakehead Painting retiring after 42 years in the industry.  He was a proud member of the Lost Race Motorcycle Club and a member of Painters Union Local #106.

Chuck was passionate about his grandchildren, he made sure he spent time with them whenever possible.  He enjoyed tinkering, whether fixing things or cooking.  Chuck was guy that could fix just about anything if he put his mind to it.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parent and siblings, Rod and Eileen.

He is survived by his children, Robin (Angela Sabbatini) Nelson, Sean (Shannon) Nelson, Shannon Nelson, Billy (Cory Hawley) Nelson-Hawley; his grandchildren, Dylan, Ashley, Allen, Tyler, Trevor, and Logan; his great granddaughter, Kimber; his former spouse, Debbie Nelson and former father in-law, Richard Anderson; numerous nieces and nephews and many great friends.

A Celebration of life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday April 9,2022 at Log Cabin Tavern.
