Obituary

George Kulus, 96, of Superior, died Monday, December 11, 2017, at Superior Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Superior.

He was born November 16, 1921 in Superior, son of Frank and Mary (Mrozek) Kulus.

George proudly served his country with the U.S. Army.

George worked as a construction laborer for many years and was a cook while in the Army.

He was a member of Cathedral of Christ the King, Superior.

Some of his interests included fishing, and playing cards at the Belgium Club, Superior Senior Center and casinos. He was a master at jig-saw puzzles and a green thumb with Christmas cactus. He enjoyed spending time with people. George was a very friendly man.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Marion in 1988; sisters, Louise, Margaret, Leona and Marian; and brothers, Roland and Raymond.

Survivors include his brother, Chester Kulus, Franklin, NH; step-daughter, Burnel Graber; step-son, Dennis Berling; step-granddaughters, Roberta Ziegler and Cindy Jacobsen; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m., Friday, December 15 th , Mass of Christian Burial at Cathedral of Christ the King, Superior.  Reverend Father Andrew Ricci will be the celebrant.

Pallbearers will be Alex Beebe, Chester Beebe, Jim Beebe, Brandon Peterson and Gerg A. Peterson.

Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Superior, with military honors accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post #435.

The family invites everyone to a luncheon at the church, in Kress Hall, following the committal service.
