Georgialice M. Nelson, 73, of Bennett, died Saturday, December 19, 2015 at her residence.

Georgialice was born in Gary Indiana on Oct. 12, 1942 the daughter of Eleanor and Phillip Pastoret. She married Carl Nelson in 1961 and they celebrated 51 years together until his death on July 27, 2013. Prior to her retirement she was an employee of Link's Snack Foods in Minong, WI.

She was a loving, caring person who was always willing to help others. She always took the time to care about her family and friends and was very passionate about her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Georgialice was preceded in death by her parents and husband Carl.

She is survived by her children and their families, Kim Nelson and daughter, Sheila of South Range; Brenda and Chet Hart and their children, Shadly (Brittany) and Najhaia, Taven, and Emmylou Nelson, Aaron (Rachel) and Evan, Sophiyah Nelson, Dustin (Ashley) and Kendall, Kalli, and Kellyn Nelson, Ryan and daughter, Raevyn Nelson, Jaden and daughter Zooey Nelson, Cody (Amber)Hart, and Kimberly (Brandon) and daughter Koti Hart; Scott (Sara) and Violet, Dominic, Caden, Savannah, Tyesha and Jaycen and Taya Nelson, and Autumn Nettles; Philip (Brenda) and Kendra, Jade Nelson; Trevor Nelson and son Tristan; Bill Nelson and his children, Briar and Bailey; Amy Jo and her children, Channing, Kenneth and Canann, and a brother Phil Pastoret.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday Dec. 23 at 1:00 pm, and her funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at Darrow Road Wesleyan Church. Pastor Mark A. Holmes will officiate. Burial will be at the Bennett Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearer will be Aaron Nelson. Pallbearers will be Shadly Nelson, Dustin Nelson, Ryan Nelson, Jaden Nelson, Cody Hart.

Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th St. and Ogden Ave. is assisting the family with arrangements.
