Obituary

Gerald "Jerry" Molitor, 92, died with his family by his side on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Waterview Shores in Two Harbors, MN.

Jerry was born May 7, 1932 in Duluth, MN to Bessie (Nevel) and William Molitor.

He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War.  Jerry married Eileen Streu on September 3, 1960 in Duluth, MN.

Jerry was employed at Super Wood/Georgia Pacific working in fire safety and screen repair.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Duluth.  Jerry enjoyed baseball, watching the Grand Ole Opera, the Lawrence Welk Show, the Bill Gaither Show, listening to gospel music, waltz, and polka music.  He was passionate about accordion music and attending church.

Jerry will be remembered for having a heart of gold, being a sweet man, and being a loving dad, grandpa, and great grandpa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Shirley Schrek, Gordy Molitor, Kenny Molitor, Marv Molitor, and Lillian Rosenholm; his daughter in-law, Jennifer Molitor.

Survivors include his wife, Eileen; his children, Mary (Chris) Willie, Peggy Harvey, Annette (Rik) Connelly, Mike (Joyce) Molitor, Scott (Jennifer) Molitor, and Randy Molitor; his grandchildren, David (Heather) Molitor, Dan Molitor, Jessie (Jeff) Koch, Matt (Katelyn) Molitor, Hannah (Derek) Armstrong, Sabrina (Cole) Brenna, and Tiff Willie; his great grandchildren, Owen, Elijah, Annie, Camden and two on the way.

A visitation will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 11:00 am until the 12:00 pm funeral service at North Bay Community Church, 1316 E. 5th St., Superior, WI. A luncheon will be served following the service.  Interment was held at the MN State Veterans Cemetery in Saginaw, MN.
