Germaine L. Denotter, 68, lifelong resident of Superior, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at her residence.

Germaine was born in Superior on Aug. 3, 1951 the daughter of Patricia (Bartylla) and Duane Denotter. She graduated from Superior High School with the class of 1970. She had worked at HRC Mental Health Center and most recently Customer Link.

She enjoyed studying Astronomy and going to the Library. She also enjoyed car rides and listening to music, especially the Beatles. She liked watching Star Trek and she loved her two cats. Most important to her was spending time with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Germaine is survived by her two sons, Jeremy (Jennifer Nikstad) Gheen and Thomas (Joedy Schneck) Gheen all of Superior; and her lifelong friend, Diane Phillips.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 19th at 11:00 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, 8402 Tower Ave. Superior. Gary Banker will officiate.

If desired, memorials in Germaine's name may be made to the Douglas County Humane Society.
