Gladys E. Carlson, 96, of South Range, Wisconsin passed away on September 8, 2018, in St. Luke's Hospital.

She was born on August 13, 1922 in Atkinson, Minnesota to James and Elizabeth (French) Lee.

She married Elrude A. Carlson on January 15, 1949.  They lived in South Range.

Gladys enjoyed taking care of her family.  She had a strong spirit and a kind heart.  She was always thinking of others first.  She tried to look on the bright side of life and encouraged others to do the same.

She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers, Edwin 'Buck' and James 'Bud' Lee; sisters, Blanche Hanson, Loretta Lightbody, Dorothy Munter, Bernice Demenge, and Evelyn Williams.

Gladys is survived by son, Joseph (wife Judy); daughter, Laura; son, Steven; nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

No service or visitation at Gladys' request.  Interment at Poplar Cemetery.
