Obituary

Glenn G. Verville, 94, longtime Superior resident, died Friday, February 14, 2014 at White Pine Assisted Living in White Bear Lake, Minn.

Glenn was born in Oliver, Wis. on Jan. 10, 1920 the son of James and Hattie Verville.

He served his country during WWII in the Army from 1941-45.

He had worked for Northern Liquor as a truck driver and maintenance for 28 years and for Saratoga Liquor in truck maintenance for 32 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Muriel; six brothers and 2 sisters.

Glenn is survived by his children, Chuck (Mary) Verville of Kansas City, Kan., and Bonita (Richard) Kolar of White Bear Lake, Minn.; grandchildren, Rick (Stephanie) Verville and Carrie (Brian) Spellman; great-grandchildren, Loren and Luke Spellman and Peyton Verville; and a niece, Darling L. Rooney of Lake Forest, Calif.

Visitation will be on Thurs. Mar. 20th from 1pm until the 3:30pm memorial service at Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th St. and Ogden Ave. Rev. Ashley B. Nicolls of Concordia Lutheran Church will officiate. Military Honors will be accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post #435.

Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery in the spring.
