Goldie V. Le Mieux, 95, of Superior died Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Villa Marina Health and Rehabilitation Center in Superior, Wis.
She was born in Ironwood, Mich. on Oct. 17, 1917 to Richard and Anna Dahl.
She resided in Ironwood until 1945 at which time she and her husband Loyd moved to Superior.
Goldie was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church, Retired Senior Volunteer Program, East End Senior Center, A. A. R. P., and a volunteer driver and hostess for the Indian head Handicap Club. She also was the exercise instructor at the Superior Senior Center, and belonged to the crafty ladies group.
She is survived by two sons, Charles (Sandy), and James (Judy) LeMieux of Superior; six Grandchildren, Charles Jr., Christine, Curtis, Jennifer, James, and Jodee; two great-grandsons, Braylon LeMieux & Caden LeMieux; one great-granddaughter, Tosh Hoiseth; one great-great- granddaughter, Asher Hoiseth; one sister, Shirley Aimone of Ironwood, Mich.; and several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd; her parents; one brother, one sister; and a great-grandson, Benjamin.
Her memorial service will be held on Sat. July 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Pilgrim Lutheran Church. Rev. Will Mowchan will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Graceland Cemetery.
