Grace Gertrude Matthews' Obituary
Grace Gertrude Matthews, 95, of Superior died Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Golden Living Center in Superior.
She was born March 9, 1915 in Superior.
Grace was married to Glen "Ace" Matthews on August 29, 1936 in Superior where the couple lived their entire lives.
She worked at Roth Brothers as a salesclerk for a few years while raising her family, she also taught knitting at W.I.T.C.
Grace was a member of the Eastern Star where she served as Worthy Matron. She enjoyed bowling, golfing and the Green Bay Packers and made numerous trips to Lambeau Field. Most of all she enjoyed time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Glen "Ace" Matthews.
Grace is survived by two sons, Gerald (Janice) of Green Bay and Greg (Shiela) of Superior; two daughters, Georgia (Ed) Hinsa of Green Bay and Gail (Swede) Hanson of Sioux Center, Iowa; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held at the Downs Funeral Home, with interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
