Gregory “Greg” Gerald Bertram, age 68, of Sandstone, MN, died Thursday September 3, 2026, in Essentia St. Mary’s Medical Center, Duluth.

Greg was born January 15, 1958, in St. Paul, MN, to Jeanne (Wasielewski) and Gerald Bertram. After high school Greg joined the United States Navy and retired after 21 years of service as an Aviation Electrician. He enjoyed fishing and living up north.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Cindy.

Greg is lovingly survived by his wife Linda; his children Crystal Realta, Amanda (Mario) Torres, Heather (Jon) Carlson and Sean Bertram. 5 grandchildren, his niece, nephew and great nephew.

For over twenty years, we were inseparable; fifteen of those as husband and wife. We faced our struggles together, and he taught me how to stand strong on my own. He was my rock.
