Harley V. Anderson, 79, of Superior, died Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center, South Range.
He was born August 7, 1933 in Chetek, WI, son of Selder and Mary (Snider) Anderson.
On October 30, 1970 in Superior, Harley V. Anderson and Jacqueline K. LaBonte were united in marriage.
Harley worked many years as a grain inspector for the State of Wisconsin.
Some of his many interests included playing cards – especially cribbage; yard work; helping his son-in-law, Eric, build decks and working outdoors; however, his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Survivors include his wife of over 42 years, Jacqueline; daughter, Linnea (Eric) Breezee, South Range; son, Harley (Melanie) Anderson, Jr., Sartell, MN; 4 grandchildren, MyrandaKaye, Brock, Brandon and Hailey; 4 sisters, Avis (Carl) Winek, Superior, Patsy (Neil) Lagro, Superior, Charlene Thompson, Hammond, IN, and Ramona Verdoljak, Superior; 2 brothers, Charles Anderson, South Range, and James Anderson, Superior; and many nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service, Friday, January 4, 2013 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior, with Reverend Father James
Tobolski officiating.
