Harold "Harry" E. Bennett, 102, of Superior, died Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Hospital, Superior.

He was born May 4, 1916 in Landing, New Jersey, son of David M. and Mabel F. (Elston) Bennett. Harry moved to Superior in 1978.

Harry was a career welder and traveled throughout the U.S. working on various construction projects.

Some of his interests included playing pool, solving crossword puzzles, traveling, and always enjoyed family gatherings.

Harry and Betty attended Bayside Baptist Church, Superior.

Survivors include his wife, Betty M. (Wick) Bennett; daughter, Gail (Ronald) Morehart, Bellvile, Pennsylvania; son, Frank (Jeanie) Bennett, Greenville, North Carolina; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at a later date, at the Lakeside Cemetery, Town of Lakeside, Wisconsin.
