Harriet L. Tuomi, 93, of Superior, died Tuesday October 26, 2021, at her residence with hospice care, surrounded by her family.

She was born January 11, 1928, in Superior, daughter of Charles and Marit (Moe) Legard.

Harriet was a long-time member of Bethel Lutheran Church and it's quilting group. She also belonged to a local homemaker's club. In addition to her church, some of her other interests included gardening, baking, sewing, knitting and reading. Her greatest love was spending time with her family, including her relatives from Norway and Finland. She was incredibly proud of her Norwegian heritage.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Wilbert in 2014; and sister, Clara McKee.

Survivors include her daughters, Sharon (James) Musich, Woodbury, MN, and Wendy Miller, Superior; son, John (Carol) Tuomi, Superior; grandchildren, Lisa (Marc) Valerius, Tara Levings, Jason (Michelle) Tuomi, Jesse (Danielle) Tuomi, Chelsey (Justin) Miller, and Jenna (Ian) Becker; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service, Tuesday November 2, 2021, at Bethel Lutheran Church, Superior. Pastor Bridget Jones will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Jason Tuomi, Jesse Tuomi, Chelsey Miller, Jenna Becker, Justin Gervais and Ian Becker.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Superior.
