Harry C. Galt, Jr., 56, of Poplar, died Saturday July 9, 2022, at his residence.

Harry was born in Cheyenne, WY on May 18, 1966, the son of Judy (Loghry) and Harry Galt Sr.

He had co-owned and operated Everlast Construction with his best friend Joe O'Neil for many years.

Harry enjoyed riding his motorcycle, listening to music, and tinkering with anything mechanical. He loved being outdoors, walking through the woods, and going fishing.

He was preceded in death by his father and son, Anthony Herman.

Harry is survived by mother, Judy Shupe of Superior; children, Terry (Jessica) Herman of Duluth, Chaz (Zach) Herman of Ohio; and Jacob Galt of Poplar; 8 grandchildren; sisters, Jodi, (Mike) Frank of South Range, and Lucy (David) Richards of Holmen, WI; nieces and nephews, Andrew (Erin) Frank, Matthew (Johanna) Frank, Katie (Larry) Taylor, Jessie (Casey) Jeffers, and Karina (Tyler) Richards; and many great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 15 ^th from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th St., with Gary Banker as officiant. Burial will be in Poplar Cemetery.
