Harry H. Hines, Jr., 87 of South Range, died Friday, January 8, 2016 at his home.

Harry was born in Kelly Lake, MN the son of Harry and Ida (Hovey) Hines, Sr.
He worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad for 37 years retiring as a conductor. He was a former local chairman of the UTU.

Harry was an avid fisherman and hunter. He and his wife Biz enjoyed traveling and had wintered in Mexico and Alabama for 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 66 years, Elizabeth 'Biz' on Sept. 4, 2014; a son, Edward and one sister.
Harry is survived by his children, JoAnn (Michael) Burke of Aurora, MN and John (Julie) Hines of Superior; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Mon. Jan. 18th from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. memorial service at Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th St. and Ogden Ave. Rev. Pam Fisher will officiate. Interment in Greenwood cemetery will be in the spring.

Following the service, everyone is invited to a luncheon at the Elks Club, 1503 Belknap St., Superior.
