Harry "Bud" L. Miller, 76, of Lake Nebagamon, passed away very peacefully on Saturday June 21, 2014 at Essentia-St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth surrounded by his children.
Harry was born on July 13, 1937 the son of Sarah Annabelle (Meyer) and Clarence Miller.
He served his country enlisting in the US Army. He had worked in the construction industry and at Fraser Shipyards. He also was a logger and truck driver.
Bud was an avid hunter, fisherman and Green Bay Packers Fan. He loved stock car racing, always racing in the #99 car. He also enjoyed socializing with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Fern and their children Cynthia and Kenneth; his parents, and step-fathers, Henry Koenen and Henry Rautio; brothers and sisters, Alvin, Ray, Richard, Minnie and Muriel; and friend, Nellie Brown.
Bud is survived by his children, Wesley Miller, and Shelloy (Bob Johnsen) Miller and their mother, Alice Miller all of Superior; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Sat. June 28th at 11a.m. at Lake Nebagamon Cemetery. Pastor Gary Bell of Hawthorne Assembly of God will officiate. Military honors will be accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post #435.
Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th and Ogden Ave., is assisting the family with arrangements.
