Heather (Izzard) Anderson, 38, of Superior, died Sunday January 23, 2022, due to complications of diabetes and drug addiction.

Heather was born in Duluth, MN on June 27, 1983, to Michael and Kathy Izzard.

In 2001, Heather graduated from Superior High School. After high school, she married Ryan Anderson in July of 2004 and they welcomed their twins that same year, Summer and Ethan.

As a young child, Heather enjoyed playing basketball, being at the lake with her grandparents, and hanging out with family and friends. She accepted Christ as her savior and was baptized in her youth. As an adult, she enjoyed coaching basketball, baking, and being a mother and best auntie to her nieces and nephews.

Heather was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Elwood Thoreson and paternal grandparents, James and Joan Izzard.

Heather is survived by her husband of 17 years, Ryan Anderson; children, Summer and Ethan; parents, Michael and Kathy Izzard; grandmother, Diana Thoreson; sisters, Katie Izzard and Sara (Mike) Pfankuch; brothers, Matt (Lindsay) Izzard and Chad (Holly) Izzard; in-laws, Arthur and Mary Anderson, Casey (Ashlynn) Anderson and Caitlin Anderson; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be on Saturday, Jan. 29 ^th from Noon until the 1:00 funeral service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th St. Pastor Stephen King will officiate.

Heather's family would like to thank Essentia and St.Luke's for their care in her many ICU stays in the past year.
