Heidi Lisa Steen, 47, Superior, Wisconsin, passed away at her residence August 3, 2017.

She was born November 27, 1969, in Ashland, Wisconsin, the daughter of Gary and Fran Steen.

Heidi graduated from Ashland High School in 1987.  Later on, she realized her need to serve in the veterinary field, graduating from Minnesota Institute of Medicine, Burnsville, in 1996, enabling a career both as a technician and culminating with many years in a teaching position at DBU, Minnesota.

Heidi is survived by her parents, Gary and Fran of Ashland; sister, Holly (Shane) Carignan and their children, Ivy, Lily and Rose, all of Superior; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

As requested, no funeral service will be held at this time.  A private ceremony will take place at a later date.
