Helen L. Keller, 90, of Superior, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Essentia Health-Miller Dwan in Duluth.

She was born in Wheeling, IL, on December 31, 1931, daughter of Henry and Anna Anfeldt.

Helen was best known for always having a good cup of coffee near her, enjoying the classic old western TV shows and movies, and collecting dolls and other trinkets. Most of all, she loved being able to get together with all her family surrounding her and was especially able to enjoy this one last time for Christmas. Helen was a special lady that was admired by all she met and has touched the lives of many.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Julian; daughter, Patti; 3 grandchildren, Lisa, Buddy, and Shawn; and sons-in-law, Robert, Jack, Jerry and Gerald.

Helen is survived by her daughters, Peggy Anderson, Barbara Degroot, Bonnie Hoyt, all of Duluth, and Charmaine (Roger) Douglas of Superior; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren, Jack, Isabella, Noelle, and Shawn; siblings, Carl and Elsie; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 until the 11:00 a.m. service Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th Street, Superior, WI, with Frank Goodwin officiating.

Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN, at a later date.
