Helen E. (Turoski) Semborski, 86, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2013 at Essentia Health in Duluth surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on April 17, 1927 in Superior to Joseph Turoski and Gladys (Pietrzyk) Dublek.
Helen graduated from Superior Central High School in 1945. She was united in marriage to Anthony J. Semborski on January 25, 1947.
Helen was a life-long Superior resident and a member of Cathedral of Christ the King. She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards, watching sports, and finding the humor in life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Anthony; brothers, Joe Turoski, Frank, Stanley and John Szymonowicz; grandson, Tim Wicklund; and great-grandson, Justin Korte.
She is survived by daughters, Barbara (Gene) Korte, Susan (Daniel) Wicklund, and Toni Ann Semborski; sons, Robert (Debra), Stanley (Becky), David (Margaret), Richard (Tami), and Anthony C. (Suzanne); grandchildren, Chris, Mark, Rob, Dan, Kate, Eric, Helena, Staci, Katie, Tim, Samantha, Nicholas, Dylan, Jake, and Patrick; and great-grandchildren, Raechelle, James, Andy, Luca, Chelsey, and Addison.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Cathedral of Christ the King in Superior, Father Andrew Ricci presiding. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass. Interment in Calvary Cemetery with luncheon to follow at the Cathedral.
