Irma B. Field, 100, of Superior, died Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Aspen Health & Rehabilitation Center in South Range.

She was born July 21, 1921 in Superior, the daughter of Earl and Clara (Bachelar) Edwards.

Irma worked many different jobs over the years, including working in the shipyards during WWII, selling shoes at various department stores, working as a CNA, and a beautician. She was also a homemaker, raising her children Michael and Pam.

She enjoyed spending time at the casino, going for pontoon rides, knitting, golf, bowling, playing shuffleboard and cribbage, and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

Irma was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; grandchildren, Angela Rae Field and Amy Elizabeth Field; and brothers Marlin, Vernon and Wayne Edwards.

She is survived by her children Michael (Kathy) Field and Pam (Pete) Raaflaub, both of Superior; grandchildren Patrick Field, Scott (Abby) Raaflaub, Stacy Raaflaub, and Kari (Laura Marquardt) Raaflaub; and great grandchildren Bobby and Jade Johnson, Jackson and Austin Raaflaub, and Wyat Raaflaub.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the 11:00 service on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th Street, Superior.

Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Superior, at a later date.
