Jacob C. Benoit, 28, of Forest Lake, MN, died Monday May 25, 2020 at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis.

He was born on March 5, 1992 the son of Therese J. (Pearson) Jerrard and Ricky Benoit. He worked at Ductz Air Duct Cleaning and HVAC Restoration.

Jacob was blessed with a very sincere and kind heart. He loved the outdoors and warm, sunny days. He enjoyed playing disc golf and eating hot wings with his brother Nick more than anything else. He was very intelligent, well-read, and relished talking politics and sharing his keen insights on current events. After being diagnosed with a heart condition in 2018, he lived with and became very close to his sister Stephanie and brother-in-law Tim.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Terrance and Carol Pearson and Paul Jerrard, Great Grandpa "Truck", and his uncle, Joseph Pearson.

Jacob is survived by his parents, Therese and Dan Jerrard, father, Ricky Benoit, sister, Stephanie (Tim) Schingen, brothers, Nicholas (Rebecca) Benoit, Jeffrey Jerrard, Grandma Brenda Jerrard, Great Grandma "Kids", his cat McKinley, and many extended family and friends that he loved dearly.

Visitation will be on Thursday, June 25th from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial with his uncle Joe, at Cathedral of Christ the King Church with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
