James A. Peters, 69, of Superior, died Monday, February 1, 2021 at his residence.

He was born October 29, 1951 in Superior, son of William and Marialice Peters.

On August 12, 1996 in Superior, James A. Peters and Kay M. Madsen were united in marriage.

Jim was retired from the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad, where he worked many years as a hostler and switchman.

Jim enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and meeting his friends to talk railroad.

Preceding him in death were his parents, and brother, Mike.

Survivors include his wife of over 24 years, Kay; sisters-in-law, Bonnie (Dick) Nikstad, Foxboro, and RaeAnn (Mike Edwards) Anderson, Superior; brothers-in-law, Butch (Kathy) Madsen, Rice Lake, WI, Roy Madsen, Foxboro, and Norman (Sue) Madsen, Hastings, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

As per Jim's wishes, there will be no service.
