James G. Anderson, 84, of Superior, died Monday, March 27, 2017, at Superior Health and Rehabilitation in Superior.

He was born in Superior on February 5, 1933, the son of Oscar and Anna Anderson.

Jim served honorably in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was a brick layer for many years and cattle farming was a lifelong career.  Jim was an avid Green Bay Packer and Chicago Cubs fan.  He always had time to help someone in need and he loved spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Marie Johnson, Charles Anderson, Jack Anderson, Robert Anderson, Elizabeth Peters, Francis Anderson, and Kathleen Jacobson.

Jim is survived by his brothers, George (Carol) Anderson, Wrenshall, and Richard Anderson, Wentworth; and many nieces and nephews.

His visitation will be on Saturday, April 1, from 11:00 a.m. until the noon funeral service at Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19 ^th and Ogden.  Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post #435.
