James A. Brett, 84 of Superior, WI died on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Dove Healthcare in Superior.

James was born March 24, 1940 in Fargo, ND to Virginia (Saul) and Milton Brett.

He married Pauline Gruel April 21, 1961 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Fargo, ND.

Jim was employed as an over the road truckdriver for most of his career.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, watching old classic Westerns, and traveling.  Jim's favorite snacks where chocolate milk, Pepsi, and cheese and crackers.  He was passionate about his family and socializing with friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Pauline; his daughter, Marylou Jones; his son Jeff Brett; his sisters, Janice Johnson and Joanie Faris and his brother, Robert Brett.

Survivors include his sons, David Brett, Gary (Sundae) Brett, and Mike (Kathy) Brett; 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and his sister, Judy Smith.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Downs Life Celebration Center 1902 N. 34th St. Superior, with Gary Banker officiating.  Interment will be in Oneota Cemetery in Duluth, MN.
