James D. Collins, 77, of Superior, died Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Hayward Health Services in Hayward, WI.

Jim was born on Aug 16, 1942 the son of Alyce (Pedersen) and James C. Collins.

He served his country enlisting in the Army. During his enlistment he was deployed to France, Belgium, and Spain. He then worked for the Soo Line Railroad for 28 years.

Jim was a loyal Green Bay Packer shareholder and loved watching their games. He enjoyed socializing with his large circle of friends at the Dugout and Jack's.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jim is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Anne; daughter, Barbara (Victor) Collins Johnson of Duluth, GA; sons, James E. (Nicole De Beaufort) Collins of Detroit and David Collins of Superior; grandson, Tristan Johnson; and sister, Sheila (James) Hansen of Duluth, MN.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 15th, at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery. Fr. Andrew Ricci will officiate.
