James D. "Jim Bob" Hadlock, 44, of Danbury, formerly of Superior, died Tuesday, May 16, 2017, in New Richmond, Wisconsin.

He was born December 29, 1972, in Superior, son of Leon and Christina (Cook) Hadlock.

James worked as a roofer for various contractors.

He enjoyed spending time with his dog, carpentry projects and 4-wheeling.

Preceding him in death was his father, Leon, in 1980.

Survivors include his daughter, Ashley Hadlock, Superior; son, Alex Hadlock, Superior; mother, Christina Stone, Bayfield, WI; sister, Tina Line, Ashland, WI; brothers, Russell Hadlock, Madison, WI, and Emil Hadlock, Cameron, WI; special nephew, Austin Line, Ashland, WI; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service, Friday, May 26, 2017, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19 ^th Street, Superior.

Interment will be in the River Hill Cemetery, Dairyland, WI, at a later date.
