James Alec Northcott, 58, a resident of Superior, Wis. died Wed., Dec. 26, 1012 in his residence. He was born in Superior on Apr. 28, 1954 to Gladys (Puotinen) and Arthur Northcott.
He was a 1972 graduate of Superior Senior High School, received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Superior and his Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado. He was a consultant for various computer companies.
James is survived by his daughter, Erica Northcott of Durham, N. C.; mother, Gladys of Superior; a sister, Ann (John) Behmler of St. Paul, Minn.; significant other, Susan Lewis of Superior; and two nieces, Elizabeth and Jennifer.
He was preceded in death by his father.
James enjoyed golfing and bicycling and was an avid Packer fan.
The visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service, Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior.
