James Arthur "Pygmy" Shober, 66, of Brule, Wis. died Sat., Aug. 24, 2012 in his residence.
He was born May 20, 1947 in Superior, Wis. to Yvonne (Litchke) and John "Jack" Shober.
He enjoyed fishing on Lake Superior.
James was a member of the Steel Workers Union and had been employed by M. E. Electmetal.
He is survived by his son, Scott of Wrenshall, Minn; brothers, John Shober of Sanford, Fla. and Tom (Tracy) Shober of Superior; sisters, Mary (Rich) Rolbiecki of Rosemount, Minn., Judy (Martin) Weyer of Moline, Ill., and Jackie (Joe) Semrad of Bloomington, Minn.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Janet.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. in Downs Funeral Home, corner of Ogden Ave. & 19th St., on Fri., Aug. 30th and will continue until the 11:00 a.m. memorial service with Fr. Andrew P. Ricci, Rector of Cathedral Of Christ The King Church officiating.
