James H. 'Jim' Van Puymbrouck, 64, a lifelong resident of Superior, Wis. died Thurs., Dec. 11, 2014 in Essentia-St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth, Minn.

He was born Mar. 18, 1950 to Eldora and Henry Van Puymbrouck.

Jim had been employed as a vehicle salesman in various local Ford dealerships and most recently with Amsoil.

Over the years, he enjoyed being a musician in four different bands, the Emotionals, Springfield, Sh-Boom, and Still Kickin.
Surviving are his aunt, Marlene Ringer of Chattanooga, Tenn.; several cousins; special friends, Linda and Steve Talbot of Duluth and Lonee Aakeberg of Superior; a host of other friends; and his cat, Buttons.

Per Jim's wishes, no services will be held.
