Jane A. Brown's Obituary
Jane A. Brown, 81, of Superior, Wis. died Friday, February 14, 2014 at Essentia-St. Mary's in Duluth.
Jane was born July 6, 1932 in Cannon Falls, Minn. to Evelyn (Lorenson) and Fred Paul Wenz.
She had been employed as a bartender at the Choo Choo Bar for many years.
She was a member of the Senior Citizens Center and enjoyed playing cards, especially smear and rummy, at the Belgium Club.
Jane is survived by her three children, Thomas J. (Bonnie) Brown of Superior, Beverly L. Berger of Chisago City, Minn., and Patricia A. (Patrick) Armstrong of South Range, Wis.; her grandchildren, Kristen (Kyle) Gunderson, James Brown, Eric (Linnea) Breezee, Elayna Armstrong and Roy Berger; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James J.; a sister, Donna Andrews; and a brother, Dean Wenz.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Downs Funeral Home, corner of Ogden & 19th St., with Rev. Sarah Kerkes officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
