Janice K. Cheselski, 64, lifelong resident of Superior, died Saturday November 7, 2015 at her residence, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Janice was born on Jan. 12, 1951 the daughter of Marie and Ralph Barton.

She enjoyed crocheting, and working with volunteers at the hospital. She also enjoyed sitting in her swing watching Gary work. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and being with her husband especially when they were fishing.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Pat Frikart.

Janice is survived by her husband of 44 years, Gary; children, Jerry (Trish) Cheselski of Barnes, WI, Tammy Lavalle of Panama City, FL, and Penny (Arron) Cheselski-Bosteder of Superior; grandchildren, Michael, Hannah, Daniel, Ashley, Jarrid, Tristan and Jacob; 2 great-granddaughters and a great-grandson on the way; brothers and sisters, Carol (James) Conner, Diane Barton, Pam (Mel) Peel, and twin brother, Jeff (Sue) Barton; sisters-in-law, Violet (Leo) Sanda, Sharon (Wayne) Johnstad; brothers-in-law, Walter (Tish) Cheselski and Robert (Linda) Cheselski; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, 'Fluffy'.

Visitation will be on Friday, Nov. 13 from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Darrow Road Wesleyan Church. Rev. Mark A. Holmes will officiate. Burial will be in Summit Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Cheselski, Tristan Cheselski, Jason Larson, Lee Sanda, Ricky Mondale, and Chad Johnstad. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jacob Cheselski.
