Janice "Jan" M. Rink, 78, of Superior, died Wednesday December 2, 2020 at Superior Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Superior.

She was born August 31, 1942 in Superior, daughter of Edward and Rose (Winek) Collins.

On May 28, 1960 in Superior, Janice Collins and James Rink were united in marriage.

After 25 years, Jan retired from the Superior School District as a special education assistant.

She enjoyed golfing, traveling and summer trips to cabins.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, James in 2007; son, Donald in 2014; sister, Carol Mikloczak; and brother, Jim Collins.

Survivors include her sons, James (Sue) Rink, Superior, David Rink, Superior, and Dan (Alyssa) Rink, Ramsey, MN; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sherry (Joseph) Mackiewicz, Superior, Sandy (Doug) Burham, St. Louis Park, MN, Kathy (Ken) Reed, Superior, and Patsy Collins, San Antonio, TX; brothers, Patrick Collins, Superior, and Dennis Collins, Kenosha, WI; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Dick Rochon, Superior.

A private visitation and service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19 ^th Street, Superior.  Reverend Father Andrew Ricci will officiate.

Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Superior, followed by an appreciation of Jan's life.
