Obituary

Jason J. Ierino, 52, of Superior, Wisconsin, died Thursday, January 1, 2026, from an infection his body could no longer fight.

Jason was born October 29, 1973, in Duluth, Minnesota, to Lenette (Kinney) and Rocco Ierino.

Jason worked for many years as a bartender and bouncer, where he was known for looking out for his co-workers and making sure everyone got home safely. He was also a talented carpenter and handyman and was the owner and operator of Ierino Construction, specializing in remodels, renovations, and garage construction. In addition, Jason worked as a sales representative for Cricket Communications and, most recently, was employed by Boyer Trucking in Superior.

Jason was a mountain of a man — a true teddy bear with a protector's heart. He looked after his family and friends like a lion, always willing to step in and help when someone was in need. He was never afraid to jump in and get a job done. Jason shared a special bond with his niece and nephews, taking the time to connect with each of them on their level. He will be remembered for his big heart, his protective nature, and for being a man you could always count on.

Jason is survived by his mother, Lenette (Don) Davis; his father, Rocco Ierino; his sisters, Jodi (Damien) Paulson and Teresa Ierino; his brother, David (Holly) Ierino; and his niece and nephews Derek, Christian, Ella, and Matthew Ierino, and Noah and Rocco Paulson.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Downs Life Celebration Center, 1902 N. 34th Street, Superior, Wisconsin.
