Jean E. Omberg, 89, of Superior, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital of Superior.

She was born November 4, 1920, daughter of Frank and Orange E. (Hill) Prior.

Jean was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church and past-president of A.L.C.W.

Some of her interests included fishing, gardening, traveling and most important was spending time with her family.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Orville in 1986; 7 brothers; and a sister.

Survivors include 3 sons, C.O. "Clancy" (Kathy) Omberg, Corcoran, Minn., Richard O. (MaryJo) Omberg, The Villages, Florida, and Cory D. (Barbara) Omberg, Superior; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon until the 1:00 p.m. service, Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior. Reverend Sarah Larsen, pastor of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Superior, will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be Erin Bugge, Clancy, Richard, Cory, Ben, and Erik Omberg.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Superior.
