Jean Anne Spesock, 81, died peacefully on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, in hospice care at St. Luke's Hospital, Duluth, MN.

She was born in Superior, WI, on November 30, 1936, to Lola and Milton C. Nelson.

She retired in 2002 from the Douglas County Treasurer's Office after 26 years of service.

Jean is survived by her children, Michael (Sandra) Bailey and Mark Bailey of Superior, and Denise Blaylock of Gordon, WI, as well as 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Patricia; and a granddaughter, Stephanie.

Family will receive friends and relatives from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, Sunday, August 12, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th Street, Superior, WI.

Inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
