Jeanne Carol Ellison, 89, of Superior died peacefully on Friday, August 13, 2021. She was born on May 30, 1932 in Pasadena, California to Clara (Carlson) Ellison and Hjalmer Ellison. Her family moved to Poplar when she was a child where she attended school and made many lifelong friends. As an adult she spent happy years living with her mother Clara and working in the insurance industry.

Jeanne loved to golf and enjoyed driving fast red cars. Most of all, she loved her church, friends, and family. Surviving family members are brothers Rod Ellison of Green Bay, Henry (June) Ellison of Hayward, niece Joan (Mike) Hare and nephew Eric (Tammy) Ellison and their families.

Jeanne lived a life of strong faith in the Lord, striving to follow these words daily: "Live as though this is your last moment on earth. Love more deeply, forgive more readily, give more generously and speak with kindness."

She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

A private family committal service will be held at Graceland Cemetery, Superior.
