Jeannette Claire Swenson, nee Lawler, was born in Superior to Claire M. and Ida A. Lawler on March 28, 1923 and died in Superior on September 2, 2018.  She was married to Walter Christiansen in 1944 and together they had two daughters, Karen Morse and Claire (Al) Heizman.  In 1965 she married Irving E. Swenson.

She is pre-deceased by husband, Irving; sister, Doris Blatt; grandson, Dan Davis; granddaughter, Lauri Stroot; and nephew, Tom Blatt.

Surviving her include her two daughters; four step-sons, James and Susan, Bill and Dana, Richard and Linda, and John and Kelly Swenson; one daughter-in-law, Dianna; sister, Corrine Rudd; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one niece.
