Jeffrey "Jeff" A. Stalls, 53, of Superior, passed away Saturday May 22, 2021 at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth.

He was born November 6, 1967 in Tecumseh, MI, son of Lonnie E. and Virginia R. (Hopkins) Stalls.

On March 23, 1991 at the Missionary Baptist Church, Tecumseh, MI, Cindy Jean Iverson and Jeffrey Alan Stalls were united in marriage.

Jeff worked as a carman for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway.

One of his greatest interests was running. Every day included, at a minimum, a five-mile run. When he was not running, he was either blacksmithing/forging knives, woodworking making canes and walking sticks, cooking, or collecting running shoes.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Lonnie and Virginia, brother, Larry E. Stalls, and sister, Sandra Pierce.

Survivors include his wife of over 30 years, Cindy; children, Heather, Kimberly, Brooklyn (Erik Hart) and Haley (Eathon Basinski) Stalls, all of Superior; siblings, Randy (Opal) Stalls, Albuquerque, NM and Cheryl (Dave) Gramling, Pinckney, MI; sister-in-law, Peggy Stalls, Moulton, AL; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Downs Funeral Home, Superior. Reverend Bridget Jones will officiate.
