Jeffrey M. Rozowski, 64, lifelong resident of Superior, died Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Jeff was born in Superior on Oct. 22, 1956 the son of Stanley and Corrine (Anderson) Rozowski. He graduated from Superior Senior High School with the class of 1974.

He had worked for the Soo Line Railroad, St. Ann's in Duluth, and for many years as the Maintenance Director for Duluth Bethel.

Jeff, "Dad", will be remembered for so many things. The way his sense of humor and sarcasm could make everyone laugh, how his booming laughter was contagious. Dad loved being surrounded by his family and friends who became like family. He could be found in the kitchen cooking with Solid Gold Oldies playing, happily singing along to every song.

Jeff's favorite place in the world was the cabin – whether he was taking his grandkids on 4-wheeler rides, planning a picnic on the pontoon, tending to the yardwork or just enjoying space with his family – it was a highlight of his life. It never took any convincing to get him to play a game of Cribbage or sit around a table with a group and play Tricks.

Jeff's love for sports was undeniable, you could walk in a Gymnasium and catch him coaching, watching or playing. Coaching basketball for over 30 years brought joy to his life, even carrying around a personalized J.R. bag through the years – but watching his kids and grandkids play various sports was something that filled him with immense pride. He always had a pocket or two full of Werther's candy to pass out to the many faces he knew around the games. If it was football season, guaranteed he would have the game on and you'd oftentimes walk in the house to hear him shouting "GO PACK GO".

A man full of such life whose presence will be sorrowfully missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Chad Rozowski.

Jeff is survived by the love of his life, "My Girl" Julie, whom he has been happily married to since October 25th, 1975; children, Charity (Arthur) Alcantara, Christy (Chris) Zentkowski, Casey (Kara) Rozowski, Corey Rozowski, Cariann (Chris) Kinn, Cayla Rozowski, Corrine Carpenter, and Chase Rozowski; grandchildren, Madelyn, Lucas, and Zachary Alcantara, Kaleb and Kloe Zentkowski, Matthew, Lorraine, Asher, and Tessa Rozowski, and Logan and Aiden Kinn; and his beloved companion "Gigi" who could always be found by his side.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 20 ^th from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Cathedral of Christ the King, 1111 Belknap St., Superior, with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be, Casey, Corey, and Chase Rozowski, Art Alcantara, Chris Zentkowski, Chris Kinn, and Mark Nelson.
